Leave it to the LA Times to end an otherwise reasonable article with a gratuitous swipe at Enron. Geez, give it up folks! ;^)
The world is a funny place. In the face of one of the greatest disasters to ever hit this country, here we have a potentially defining moment for Houston. There will be plenty of more articles like this one that tell the Houston story to the world from one angle or another.
One thing that seems to be clear is that with the eyes of the world on us, we're gaining a reputation as a city of caring, generous people. Of course, we've known that all along... it's just that now the rest of the world gets to find out.
Geraldo Rivera was gushing about Houston and Texas on Fox News tonight...
