Radio show Thursday noon-2pm

Just wanted to let everyone know your friendly neighborhood blogger will be on the Ken Hoffman and Raheel Ramzanali Show on 1560 AM from noon to 2pm Thursday April 17th. They like the blog and want to talk about all sorts of Houston stuff. Wish me well - this real-time/live thing is very different from all the editing I get to do on my posts. If you're at your computer, you can listen online here.

Update: Here are the podcast links:
part 1, part 2, part 3

Tory: If you can get a transcript post it here. I won't be able to listen, it would be nice to be able to read it later.

Same here. Maybe I can take my lunch break then. How did they find you? Any idea what kind of things they wanna talk about? Those guys are crazy. Seems like an odd fit, but I'm sure it'll blend nicely.

I don't think there will be a transcript, but there should be a podcast recording here at some point afterward:

Raheel discovered my blog and invited me. It sounds like the topics will be pretty general around Houston.

Hey Tory, great job today! Well, at least for the 30 or so minutes I was able to listen -- turns out it's really hard to work and listen to talk radio at the same time!

At first I thought you were totally hangin' with the guys' football jargon ("man, he knows all about transportation, politics, economics, AND retraining from one football position to another?? Gadzooks, is there anything the man can't do?!") But then they finally remembered you, and I was glad when the conversation moved onto topics I understood :)

Thanks! Yeah, the sports questions definitely threw me for a loop. I warned them I don't know much about sports, so I was definitely winging it.

I've updated the post with links to the podcasts for anyone who's interested.
